The Miniature Schnauzer is a calm, eager, intelligent learner. They get along great with familiar children, dogs, and other pets, however, Schnauzers are wary and cautious with people and animals they do not know. The Miniature Schnauzer may bark a lot and exhibit high energy that far exceeds its size. Schnauzers enjoy going for runs or playing games in the yard.
